It would be a shame if it all fell into place so easily. It would be a real shame if you never had the opportunity to fight for it. It would be a shame if you never had your doubts or moments where you lost all faith in yourself and almost gave up. It would be a shame if your belief wasn’t re-enforced. It would be a shame if you couldn’t test yourself with temptations. It wouldn’t be that much fun if you never fought with the demons in your head.
How will you ever know everything was worth it if you didn't go through all the pain and loss of faith and all the people discouraging you? How will you ever know this was all you ever wanted if you never had the opportunity to see what you could do to stand by it? How will you ever know you have what you wanted if you were always happy with what was given to you? How will you know if what you have is what you wanted unless you’ve had to fight for it?
So when you are in moments of doubt about doing something that might not turn out right, don’t be afraid of the pain, welcome the fear of the pain, because looking back at the fear of pain is the only thing that will tell you later that it was all worth it.
